Liverpool has joined the race to sign £35m rated Ajax star David Neres this summer.
Neres’s who canceled out Cristiano Ronaldo goal to draw against Juventus on Wednesday night has been outstanding for Ajax’s European and domestic success this term and has caught the eyes of many continent’s top clubs.
Paris Saint Germain and Borussia Dortmund are potential suitors with a keen interest in signing the winger, the German club had officially proposed a bid of £35million.
But Mercatto reports that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp’s is a fan of the Ajax sensational and could be tempted into making a move for the player this summer.
Neres has bagged eight goals and provided 11 assists from the wing this season and would bolster Liverpool’s already vaunted forward line.
The outlet also claims that PSG has sent their scouts to monitor the player closely but have not submitted a concrete offer for now – nor have Liverpool.
However, there’s a certainty that there’s a keen interest in all three parties and if he continues his impressive form it may soon prompt into a bidding war.
